Beyond UA's Server History
Our Discord server has a bit of history and to newcomers we understand it could be confusing!
Hopefully, these explanations can help you understand more about BUA.
What was HeroUA and why did it "transform" into BeyondUA?
HeroUA was a Boku no Hero Academia OC Roleplaying server founded back in 2017, abruptly shutting down few days before 2019 began… The close was unprompted and occurred without any prior warning, leaving many of its roughly 150+ members lost, confused, and heartbroken when discovering it gone the following day. But, with the spirit of the community ever so potent, the remaining members managed to band together and gather as many as they could contact back! We regrouped to comfort each other after HeroUA’s disappearance, and to figure out where to go from there.
How do we have "veterans" for Beyond UA already?
The veterans come from the old server, once known as HeroUA. Though we have been given reasons on why the Founder deleted it, it still left many of its members confused and saddened on where to go afterwards. Therefore, we created BeyondUA, to somewhat replace what we had lost and to go beyond HeroUA’s original concept for both veterans and newcomers alike.

This is what Beyond UA was born and crafted from—the hearts and passion of members from HeroUA wishing to continue their character’s journey, going beyond the limits set in the past into something new and fresh. A passion to experience a new horizon while still paying homage to the old one. There are some elements of HeroUA still lingering in Beyond UA, but there are also some new ones added from the input of its loving community.
We hope Beyond UA will live up to the expectations of its predecessor and its members, both old and new, and we look forward to seeing it unravel its potential in the near future!
