U.A. High Student Handbook
Some of these are in-universe rules and some are for flavor text in-character. They're not necessarily meant to be rigidly followed and instilled. It's like when you were back in school and had to follow the rules too! As long as you didn't start a fight in the halls or spray paint on the walls, you're good! And if you did worse... see you in the Principal's Office.
U.A. School Rules

Students should act polite and courteous to one another, and also to faculty and visitors.

The full school uniform must be worn (See U.A. Uniform Rules below). When wearing the uniform off-campus, the student is expected to follow school rules.

Students are expected to arrive on time for school activities and be in their classroom before the first bell rings, and after lunch break. Classes are held Monday through Saturday, starting at 8:30am and ending at 4:00pm unless otherwise specified.

Lunch is served in the school cafeteria every weekday at 12:30pm to 1:30pm. Dinner is served in the school cafeteria every weekday at 6:00pm. The school cafeteria does not serve on Sundays.

Students must not run in the hallways and are advised to keep an inside voice at school.

Students are expected to be tidy and to participate in cleaning the school.

Students should not have their cell phones out while in class. If discovered, cellular devices will be confiscated and kept securely away. They may be retrieved at the end of the day from the Teachers’ Office.

Extensive Quirk usage is only allowed in designated areas (UA Facilities) or at the discretion of the faculty with their specific rules. Minor Quirk usage is allowed at the students discretion, but it is forbidden to use your Quirk on another student, faculty or a visitor.

Bringing illegal or dangerous things to school is forbidden. This includes knives, explosives, drugs, tobacco and/or large amounts of cash.

Students should not have a part-time job if it interferes with studies but if the student(s) needs to work during the school year then they must notify the school beforehand.

If a student is going to be absent, they must inform the school.

Students are allowed to sign up for clubs, and if they do so, are required to be active and participate within those clubs.

The tuition is to be paid for the entire year despite frequent or multiple consecutive absences. Please pay the tuition at the beginning of each trimester (or monthly).

Hazardous experimenting or tinkering of any kind should be reserved solely for in-class or in the workshop, and only when supervised. Other parts of the school (including the dormitory) are not suitable places for such activities.
U.A. Uniform Rules

Students cannot attend school without wearing their uniform. The uniform must be worn tidy and kept clean. Students must also be well groomed and look appropriate. Makeup may be worn, but it must be modest.

Summer uniforms are worn starting from June 1st. Winter uniforms are worn starting from October 1st.

Summer school uniform includes a white short-sleeved shirt, a red tie, necktie or ribbon, and green full-length slacks or a pleated skirt. It is preferable for undershirts, socks or stockings, and the possible jacket to be in muted colours.

Students must wear their seasonally appropriate sports uniforms when applicable.

Students may also request alterations to their uniforms to accommodate their Quirks and comfort within reason. These include but are not limited to: gloves, eyewear, different cuts, special materials, etc.

Students may wear any shoes they see fit, though they must be tidy and appropriate for a school environment. Tasteful accessories and jewelry are allowed at the student's discretion.

Uniform striping and shoulder crests must match the student’s grade (1st to 3rd) and department (Heroics, Support, General Education or Business. See here: Uniform Reference.)

The custom Hero Uniforms must be worn when instructed and should not be worn elsewhere.

U.A. Dormitory Rules

Students must be in their dorms by 9:30pm at the latest during the school year if no notice of lateness has been provided beforehand.

Silence is to be kept from 10:00pm to 6:30am, though students are expected to keep an inside voice on dormitory room floors at all times.

Bringing illegal or dangerous things to the dormitory is forbidden. This includes knives, explosives, drugs, tobacco and/or large amounts of cash.

Students are expected to be tidy, clean up after themselves, properly sort their litter into the appropriate disposal bins, and to participate in cleaning the communal facilities (either mopping/vacuuming/dusting the lounge, kitchen, showers, toilets, etc).

Provided room facilities (such as refrigerator, mattress and bedding, computer desk, chair, closet) may be removed, but must be replaced once the student leaves the school and/or dormitory upon graduation or for separate reasons.

Pets are allowed, but they must not exceed a cat in size and not let to roam freely. The term “pet” includes mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish. Service animals are permitted as long as the school board is notified and they must wear proper identification on-campus.

The provided storage spaces should not be utilized for storing non-essentials.

Internet is free, but the other utilities are charged separately.
